Birth control is simply a way to regulate the frequency of giving birth. Some people give birth to a child and after three months, are pregnant again with a second child. This can be detrimental, due to the health conditions after giving birth to the first child. There should be a gap in between getting pregnant, for the body to regain a healthy status. After giving birth, a woman’s body will be very weak due to the blood loss and some may even have internal injuries, which is why they need to get rest and wait for their body to be fully healed.

However, not everyone knows the importance of birth controls. Some may find that it is bad to go against God’s wish if they prevent pregnancy by all means. However, they must also realise that God doesn’t want the child to suffer after birth. So here comes the important part of educating these people why it is good to learn about birth control, and how it can help them live a better life. There are many methods for birth control. One of the first methods around was ‘the pill’. The pill is for women, to prevent pregnancy. It was introduced in 1960 and since then has been very popular. Apart from the pill, there is the IUD or  intra-uterine device, placed in the uterus to prevent pregnancy.

Some of the not so popular methods of birth control include abortions, sterilizations and abstinence. Still, due to religious or cultural views on birth control, some people are in doubt as to whether to exercise birth control or not. For me, God also teaches us to take good care of our offspring rather than to just keep on giving birth. But that is just my opinon.
